Andy Baehr, Head of Product at CoinDesk Indices (CDI), is an industry expert who often appears on-air and in media, including CNBC [cnbc.com], NPR [npr.org], Nasdaq “Trade Talks” [nasdaq.com], Yahoo! Finance [finance.yahoo.com], Quartz [qz.com], Fortune [fortune.com], and more. Andy oversees the development and distribution of single-token, broad-based, sector, and systematic strategy indices and related data products. Since joining CDI in 2022, he has leveraged his twenty-five years of global markets and investment management experience to drive innovation and growth. Previously, Andy was a partner at Risk Premium Investments, an alternative asset manager serving institutional investors. He also held leadership and product innovation roles on derivatives desks at Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas, Morgan Stanley, and Deutsche Bank. Andy holds B.A. and MBA degrees from Columbia University. He is a CFA® charter holder and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. Since 2008, Andy has served as a board member for Goodwill NYNJ, where he currently sits on the Investment and Audit Committees.
