A pioneer and one of the founders of the modern mobile industry, popularly known as the 'father of the ringtone', founding the first international market place for ring tone. He is a curious creative mind on a relentless search around the world for the latest in mobile video innovation, new tech platforms, AI, creativity & digital start-ups.' He moved to London from South Africa in the late 1970s with producer Robert 'Mutt' Lange and Clive Calder and co-founded Jive/Zomba, the record label and publisher that shaped modern pop culture from the Village People, AC/DC, Billy Ocean and Def Leppard to Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, and N'Sync. He is also one of the initiators and producers of the Live 8 concerts with Bono and Al Gore. Over the last two decades, Ralph has been a prominent global mobile trailblazer and innovator, helping grow the world's mobile entertainment, mobile content industry & mobile health platforms, and' playing a central role in its impact and presence around the world.
